Our Revolution

"Our Revolution" tells the story of Jacek and Grażyna Kuroń, a married couple convinced that together they can change the world. Jacek is impulsive, outspoken and charismatic. Grażyna is brave, gentle and full of warmth. They are bound by boundless love. The Kuroń couple renounce their privacy to dedicate their lives to the struggle for freedom. Their apartment becomes the "opposition headquarters," a meeting place for people ready to risk everything for a better tomorrow. Yet such a great cause comes at a price: moments of intense closeness are interspersed with years of separation, divided by prison bars. The outbreak of martial law forces the couple to make decisions that no one would want to face. The film poses the question of whether love can triumph in such difficult times.
