Things to do alone in Klecza Dolna: the Apilandia bee museum and two religious buildings, all easy to visit without a group and without hurry.
All three places carry the "Solo" tag: you can see them on your own, at your own pace, and in bad weather one of them is indoors.
Start with Apilandia at Pszczela 2. The exhibition has four zones and eight interactive stations, so nobody has to wait for a guide. It is a good choice for a rainy day, as most of the time is spent inside.
Then move on to the historic buildings. The Church of St Lawrence the Martyr is a Neo-Gothic pseudo-basilica from 1906-1908, designed by Jan Sas-Zubrzycki. Before entering, pause for a moment at the shape of the building, then look inside if the church is open.
The Collegium Marianum, known as Kopiec, is the mother house of the Pallottines, with a retreat house and a school. It is visited differently from a museum, so it is a place for a quiet look from outside rather than a long visit.
A full description of the village is on the Klecza Dolna page, and more ideas for solo travellers are on the Solo page.
Yes. All three places are marked as suitable for one person, and the museum does not require a group.
Choose Apilandia. It is an interactive beekeeping centre with educational workshops, entirely under a roof.
