About this event
Roman Trávniczek (pronounced: Trawniczek) is a Czech comedian living in Sosnowiec who performs stand-up. The audience greets him with "Ahoj, Siema, Cześć i Elo!". In the program "Forced Polonization" he talks about his life in Poland. He has a plastic dinosaur in his backyard and collects hats. His stated goal is to become more recognizable in Poland than Mole. His first comedy program, "Pani Magda", is available on YouTube. "Forced Polonization" is its successor. In his new program Roman talks about: - who aunt Janina is, - how old ladies behave in the bank, - what a nightmare Tinder can be for a forty-year-old single trying out dating apps for the first time. He also answers questions he frequently hears from Poles: - whether he can complain as much as they do, - whether he envies them the sea, - whether Czech really sounds that funny. The jokes are new, sometimes on the edge of absurdity and controversy, but according to the preview stay within the bounds of good taste. They come with self-irony and distance from himself. Practical information: the performance is intended for people over 18 years old. Audio and video recording are prohibited. Participants cannot disrupt the performance, and the organizer reserves the right to ask people who do so to leave the hall without a refund. The ticket does not need to be printed; it can be shown in electronic form.
