A production by Narodowy Stary Teatr im. H. Modrzejewskiej on the Duża Scena, directed by Monika Strzępka, based on a text by Paweł Demirski. Featuring Dorota Segda, Krzysztof Zawadzki, Anna Radwan, Radosław Krzyżowski, Marcin Czarnik, and Krystian Durman, among others.
The action takes place on an island in the middle of the ocean. Passengers who survived a plane crash attempt to pass the time by telling stories about people without whom the world would have stalled. It proves difficult, as the group includes malcontents (Anna Radwan, Radosław Krzyżowski, Marcin Czarnik, Krystian Durman). Soon the characters embody figures who did something for the first time: Kathrine Switzer (Dorota Segda) – the first woman to run a marathon, players from a team that scored their first goal after years, a miner who dared to hitchhike to India, and gay men and lesbians supporting a miners' strike in Great Britain.
Shakespeare (Krzysztof Zawadzki) oversees the plot, full of twists. It transforms into a clash between dreams and reality, between faith and doubt, with an uncertain outcome. According to the description, this is a production with a positive message, believing in humanity's ability to "move mountains" if it so wishes. Witold Mrozek wrote in "Gazeta Wyborcza" that Monika Strzępka and Paweł Demirski employ techniques from variety theatre and rehabilitate theatrical entertainment.
