New Year's Eve Performance

"When the Cat's Away..." is a British sitcom presented as a New Year's Eve performance at Kino Kijów Centrum. The description promises that the cat may appear at the most unexpected moment, when the action will pick up pace. The protagonists are two English couples with twenty years of marriage. Their honeymoon to Saint Tropez coincides with their twentieth wedding anniversary. The preview poses questions meant to have surprising answers: - how the couples will manage mutual jibes, - how to rekindle passion in a bumbling husband trying to keep up with his brother-in-law who is a sex addict, - how to impress a mannered, wealthy sister and not kill her with smoked salmon, - whether a toilet brush featuring an image of the royal couple can help with a twenty-year-old's suicide attempt. **Production credits:** - direction: Andrzej Rozhin, - set design and costumes: Joanna Pielat-Rusinkiewicz, - translation: Klaudyna Rozhin, - music arrangement: Agnieszka Putkiewicz. **Practical information:** the performance runs over 2 hours. It takes place on December 31, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
