"Selfie, or Love at the Click of a Button!" is a comedy about two neighbors from a large housing block united by loneliness. Brygida is a combative single mother living with her daughter. Gerard is a lonely father disappointed by women. Both cling to stereotypes until their adult children's romantic troubles force them to confront their own prejudices. Julia, Brygida's thirty-year-old daughter, has a bookshelf instead of a Facebook account and has never taken a selfie. Her dating attempts have failed despite her mother's efforts. Gerard, meanwhile, believes his son deserves true love and tries to get him onto the dating market before he sinks completely into the routine of city block life. When Gerard's paternal concern meets Brygida's maternal determination, minor internet misunderstandings drag parents and children into a comic spiral. Each like and photo leads to further confusion. The show is a comedy full of plot twists about how easy it is to fall into the trap of your own prejudices and how hard it is to escape them without a bit of laughter.
