Royal Chopin Hall - Queen Classic Candlelight

The concert "Queen Classic Candlelight" presents Queen's greatest hits in new chamber arrangements. The program is based on Freddie Mercury's legacy and features young artists performing on violin, cello, and piano. The arrangements transform Queen's songs into classical soundscapes, preserving both their rock energy and lyrical character. The program includes "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Somebody to Love", and "Don't Stop Me Now", among others. The concert takes place in a 17th-century baroque hall at the foot of Wawel Castle. It continues the European project Freddie Mercury Rock-Opera, which premiered in 2013 at Teatr im. Słowackiego in Kraków and has since been presented throughout Europe. The current chamber version is part of an international tour covering Berlin, Rome, Paris, Milan, Prague, and Vienna. The project is permanently featured in Rome's artistic program. The event appeals to both classical and rock music enthusiasts.
