"Iggy the Eagle" - 33 Etiuda&Anima IFF

"Iggy the Eagle" is a Polish film directed by Bartosz Kędzierski from 2025, screened as part of the 33 Etiuda&Anima IFF at Kino Agrafka. The screening will take place on October 31, 2026 at 1:00 PM. The film's protagonist is a young eagle who differs from his peers. In a world where birds don't fly because their wings are occupied by scrolling screens, no one believes in independence and imagination, and no one questions technological rule. Iggy dreams of flying, which meets with misunderstanding and mockery from his peers and teachers, guardians of the world's technocratic order. He refuses to accept imposed limitations, so he searches for solutions in books and tests the capabilities of his own wings. The film asks where Iggy's curiosity will lead him and whether the young eagle will find the courage to enter the real world and find friends in it. Practical information: duration: 85 minutes. Age group: 10+. The film has a recommendation from the Film Educators Team. Festival details are available in the program at etiudaandanima.pl.
