Optimists 2 - or Our Guys in a Coach to Bulgaria

The Optimists return with a new production "Optimists 2 - or Our Guys in a Coach to Bulgaria". Instead of an all-inclusive trip to Egypt, the Krasucki family embarks in an old coach to Bulgaria. In the show, comedy mixes with horror, quarrels with tenderness, and business with ordinary domestic chaos. The whole thing tells us why the most important conversations happen on the road, and family trips end in chaos. Bulgaria here is a place of family myths, interests and emotions. In the coach, multi-generational grievances, ambitions, gold and family intrigues meet, all unfolding to the rhythm of Balkan music. The questions the show poses: who will take over Janek's company and who deserves respect? Janek's son, Pawełek, and his wife Jolka are to take over the family business, but only if Pawełek apologizes to his father for... For what, viewers will discover during the performance. The preview promises that no one will leave this journey the same as when they boarded the coach. Screenplay, direction and music: Krzysztof Czeczot. Set design: Wojciech Stefaniak.
