"Walls. 45 Years Later" - Concert

"Walls. 45 Years Later" is a concert in the form of a mini oratorio about individual constraints. It explores restrictions of all kinds - from political to existential, from social to individual - inherent in human nature itself. The program consists exclusively of songs by Jacek Kaczmarski, the bard of Solidarity, and compositions by Przemysław Gintrowski. 45 years after the first release of the album "Walls," all of its music will sound anew. The works address the human condition, its entanglement with power, the struggle for freedom, and the moral dilemmas associated with it. References to painting and major historical events lead to questions about identity and the foundation of contemporary humanity, as well as about a heritage we may not be fully aware of.
