"Mistyczka" is a Polish biographical drama film directed by Jan Sobierajski about Alicja Lenczewska. For years she led a dynamic life: a devoted member of the communist party and respected teacher, demanding, responsible and completely dedicated to her work. She also enjoyed foreign travel.
It seemed her future had long been decided, until one meeting changed everything. Despite skepticism from those around her and her own fears, Alicja begins a deep spiritual life. Her mystical writings, full of sincerity, hope and wisdom, eventually reach thousands of people seeking answers to questions about love, suffering, faith and the meaning of life.
