LA BOMBE - a hot spectacle with a star-studded cast

"LA BOMBE" is a comedy by Carole Greep, translated by Beata Geppert. Caroline and Stéphane have been married for twelve years and have three children. After the birth of their youngest, they leave for their vacation home in Corsica. They want to fall in love with each other again, but the task proves difficult. The comedy's characters: Caroline is experiencing postpartum depression. She feels disgust toward herself and aversion to those around her, and develops irrational jealousy. Stéphane is a frustrated psychologist. He understands the gravity of the situation, anticipates events, and out of concern for his wife, hires a nanny for the vacation. Alban is a family friend and avid runner whose wife has just left him. He embodies all of Caroline's fears. Sam is the nanny, chosen for her motivation and bilingualism. She arrives from London to Bastia. She is 1.80 m tall, 60 cm at the waist, a D cup, with long hair cascading down her back, an accent, and a hidden secret. With Sam's arrival, the atmosphere heats up: Stéphane and Alban become increasingly nervous, and Caroline overheats. Hence the titular "bomb."
