Kraków | "People Behind Windows"

"People Behind Windows" is the latest original project by Damian Hyra – jazz guitarist, vocalist, composer, music producer, and author of lyrics and poetry. It represents another chapter of his work, where modern improvisation meets alternative music, song, and poetic lyricism. The project's music creates an intimate, atmospheric world in which the distinctive guitar sound and natural, warm vocals become carriers of personal stories and emotions. Original lyrics give the compositions an individual, narrative character while leaving space for improvisation and musical spontaneity. The concert will feature tracks from the debut album "Z oddali" and premiere compositions announcing his forthcoming release. Damian Hyra is the recipient of the "Jazzowy debiut fonograficzny" program award for his original album "Z oddali" (2020), recorded with Damian Hyra Quartet and released by V Records in collaboration with the National Institute of Music and Dance. The artist was also a finalist in prestigious jazz competitions: Blue Note Jazz Competition, Krokus Jazz Festival, and Jazz nad Odrą. He has performed at Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Jazz nad Odrą, Jazz Jantar, Jazz Time, and Vertigo Summer Jazz Days, among others.
