"Cinderella"

"Cinderella" is a show for the youngest audiences at Teatr im. Ludwika Solskiego in Tarnów, an adaptation of a classic fairy tale. Three brave and musical mice tell the story, searching for happiness in the wide world. They arrive at Teatr im. Solskiego in Tarnów and begin spinning their tale for a handful of crumbs. The heroine is a brave girl who doesn't give up in the face of adversity. She doesn't let herself be broken by her sisters, who treat her badly (or rather, hate on her), and dreams of a better fate. The show speaks about gifts from fate that can transform life, if someone is ready for them and has the courage to accept them. At first glance, a tale about a servant girl might not fit today's times, but it still touches on universal themes. The script is witty and interwoven with songs that children will want to sing. The visual presentation draws from the best theatrical traditions and leaves room for a child's imagination. At the end, a surprise awaits the audience—different from a happy ending.
