New Year Concert

"Vienna Classics" is a New Year concert taking place on 19.01.2027 at 7:00 PM at Filharmonia Krakowska im. Karola Szymanowskiego. A soloist, orchestra, ballet, and narrator will perform. The program will feature waltzes, czardas, polkas and arias by composers including Johann Strauss, Franz Lehár, Emmerich Kálmán, Georges Bizet, and others. Performing on stage: - Arte Symfoniko Orchestra under the baton of maestro Mieczysław Smyda, known for classical and light music repertoire featured in television programs. - Edyta Piasecka, an opera singer and soloist with Opera Krakowska, performing in Poland and abroad, winner of the International Opera Awards. - Ballet artists performing on Polish and international stages, presenting choreography combining classical technique with stage expression. - Renata Brukiewicz as narrator, concert organizer and creator, business coach, etiquette expert and entrepreneur who lectures, conducts concerts, galas and training sessions. Mieczysław Smyda is a conductor, musician, pedagogue and arranger who has initiated numerous cultural events and authored programs broadcast on national television. For over 20 years he has been artistic director and concertmaster of Orkiestra Zdrojowa in Krynica, teaches violin at Państwowa Szkoła Muzyczna im. F. Chopina in Krynica, and has directed its branch since 2006. He received the honorary badge Distinguished for Polish Culture and the Golden Apple of Sądecki. Practical information: The concert consists of two parts. Champagne will be served to guests.
