How Far Does the Apple Fall From the Apple Tree

A web of various threads woven into an excellent spectacle - "The Unexpected Return". A star-studded production featuring Olbrychski and Kula on stage guarantees excellent entertainment. Produced by Teatr Gudejko, creator of such hits as "Obsessive Neurosis", "Between the Beds", and "Naked and Merry". In "The Unexpected Return", Daniel Olbrychski plays an actor preparing to perform King Lear. The particular stage fright and great hopes associated with taking on such a major acting challenge are no strangers to Olbrychski. After all, he himself faced them when playing leading roles in Shakespeare's plays. The backdrop for the actor's dilemmas is complicated family relations - troubles with partners, parents and children, which are incredibly amusing as long as they don't involve us! A particularly important character is the main protagonist's son - played by Kamil Kula, well known to audiences from many television and film productions. An actor with considerable comedic talent will have no problem inhabiting the role - after all, he's been someone's son since birth! Where will all these threads lead? How will the relationship between father and son develop? There is only one way to find out - go to the theatre! Cast: Daniel Olbrychski, Tomasz Karolak.
