European Film Schools - Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznań - 33rd Etiuda&Anima IFF

A screening of "Not from That! Frame" in the European Film Schools cycle presents sixteen short films created by members of the Animusz Scientific Circle at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznań. The screening takes place at Kino Agrafka as part of the 33rd Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival. The university has an artistic profile, where experimentation and individual creative pursuits are essential to the creative process. The Faculty of Animation is a particularly important space for these explorations, where animation is not only a technique but also a way of observing, processing, and telling stories about reality. The program was created on students' initiative as an attempt to capture what is happening in young Poznań animation: its diversity, freedom of experimentation, and search for its own language. The collection of works does not lead to a single definition of animation. All films were produced by the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznań and all come from Poland. The program includes sixteen animated shorts by filmmakers including Nicole Golek, Martyna Cisińska, Dominika Tkaczyk, Paulina Woźniak, Mateusz Jama, Agata Cebula, Michalina Sąsiadek, Alicja Liss, Zuzanna Pobłocka-Bulczak, Kinga Klajbor, Julia Izabela Piekarska, and Nina Sikorska.
