About this event
The screening "Europe in Animation - Black Sea Animation: Connections, Stories and New Voices" takes place as part of the 33rd Etiuda&Anima IFF at Małopolski Ogród Sztuki (Small Hall). The program features films by participants and alumni of the Black Sea Animation Workshop (BSAW) and a selection of the latest Georgian animations.
BSAW is an initiative supporting the development of animation projects. It brings together artists from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, and Georgia, offering filmmakers the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and develop projects across borders. Films from the workshops showcase diverse visual languages: from intimate, poetic narratives to humorous, experimental, and personal works. Georgian animations explore themes of memory, identity, relationships, dreams, and the surrounding world.
