Don Vasyl and His Band - 55th Anniversary

"From Czardas to Hits" is an anniversary sentimental concert by Don Vasyl and his Family Band. Dancers in sequined and lace Romani dresses will also perform on stage. The program will feature the singer's greatest hits, including "There Is One Heaven for All", "Dance with Me My Life", and "I Have Already Won". Don Vasyl's grandchildren will perform on violin, accordion, and guitar, and the Romani feast repertoire will include "Ore, Ore", "Play Me a Beautiful Gypsy Song", "We Are Gypsies", and "I Knew a Gypsy Girl Named Zosia". The artist's newest compositions from his latest album will also be heard. The Don Vasyl and Roma Artistic Band was founded in 1987. The core of the ensemble is formed by members of the Roma group, which toured worldwide, including performances at the UN headquarters in New York and at the "Parisian Olympia". Over time, Don Vasyl discovered and promoted other artists: Dziani, Wasyl Jr., Elza, Patrycja, Carmen, Toby and many others. The band's name was then changed to Don Vasyl and Gypsy Stars. The band continues to cultivate Roma artistic traditions. Practical Information: concert duration is 90 minutes.
