"Optimists, or Our Vacation in Egypt"

"Optimists, or Our Vacation in Egypt" is a comedy directed by Krzysztof Czeczot, creator of the show POZYTYWNI. The protagonists are family members who are going on vacation together to Egypt for the first time. With an all-inclusive offer, everything must be drunk, eaten, danced, and swum, because after all, it's already paid for. The action takes place at one of the Egyptian resorts. Ewa (Karolina Gorczyca) has invited her parents, Kasia and Janek (Hanna Śleszyńska and Piotr Cyrwus), on an exclusive vacation to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. However, the trip turns out differently than planned. Mom complains, Dad wears jeans despite the heat, and Ewa's husband, Adaś (Marcin Korcz), takes advantage of free drinks. Ewa tries to make it to the end of the stay. A table is also kept where everything consumed, drunk, swum, danced, and jogged is marked down. Cast: - Hanna Śleszyńska / Violetta Arlak - Karolina Gorczyca - Piotr Cyrwus / Jacek Lenartowicz - Marcin Korcz / Krzysztof Czeczot Screenplay and direction: Krzysztof Czeczot. The director says: "Over the past year I traveled to various resorts to see what happens on all-inclusive vacations. The stories I saw I really pumped up so that this evening would be wonderful entertainment for our audience. I'm convinced that everyone will have a fantastic time watching a comedy like they've never seen in theater!" In hot Egypt, emotions run high.
