"The Time That Never Came"

"The Time That Never Came" tells the story of a world where aging has become the greatest taboo. Sara and Oskar planned to grow old together. Oskar, like most people, underwent a revolutionary anti-geriatric treatment that ensures youth and a place in the new society. Sara refused and condemned herself to life in an isolated containment facility. Years later, her escape attempt brings the two together again. Their appearance divides them, but they share a lack of answers to questions they had pushed aside for years. The story poses questions: can feelings survive time and irreversible decisions, and can one be free and live truly in a world that denies the right to aging.
