"The Strings" is the second part of a musical comedy written and directed by Maciej Kowalewski. The band's big American career didn't go as planned: the group is falling apart, and life is not kind to them. To make matters worse, their friend Lerua has disappeared somewhere around the USA-Mexico border. The Strings reactivate the band and embark on a journey full of music, absurdities, and unexpected adventures. Instead of big stages, small bars await them, and instead of fame—a gallery of colorful characters and situations that can't be planned. The question remains whether they will find their friend, return to the stage, and whether they will return at all.
