A villa from 1910-1913 designed by Roman Bandurski in Salwator, within a historic urban layout.
The villa at Władysława Anczyca 9 in Salwator was built in 1910-1913 to a design by Roman Bandurski. It is a private building that can be viewed from the street.
The building was erected in the Zwierzyniec district, in Salwator. The urban layout of Salwator was entered in the heritage register on 8 October 2019, and the villa is part of it and is also listed in the municipal register of monuments.
The sources do not describe the style or the decoration of the façade, so we do not give any architectural details. We do know the author of the design and the time of construction, which is enough to place the building in the period when Salwator was being built up with villas. The villa is part of the historic villa development of Salwator, which is best explored on a walk along the surrounding streets. A little further on stands Kościuszko Mound.
