A concrete lookout tower from 2015 on the summit of Koziarz (943 m above sea level) with a view of the Tatras and Pieniny Mountains.
The lookout tower on Koziarz stands on a summit 943 m above sea level in the Radziejowa Range in the Sącz Beskids, above Tylmanowa. Administratively it belongs to Ochotnica Dolna municipality.
The concrete tower with a covered terrace holds about 30 people and was built in 2015. It has boards with the names of the visible peaks. From here you can see the Tatras, the Pieniny Mountains, the Sącz Beskids, the Island Beskids, the Gorce and the Dunajec valley.
The shortest route is the green trail from Tylmanowa, described as fully paved, so also suitable with children. You can also walk up by the yellow trail from Łącko or from Krościenko, according to the description in about 2 hours 20 minutes, or from the Szczawnica side. You can leave a car in Tylmanowa by the bridge over the Dunajec, where it can get crowded in season.
