A small ski resort in Witów with a chairlift and two floodlit runs.
The Witów-Ski Ski Station is a ski resort in Witów, in Kościelisko municipality, on the eastern slopes of the Orawicko-Witowskie Wierchy ridge, between Magura Witowska and Masnakova.
According to Wikipedia there are two runs here: a blue one 1,000 m long and a green one 120 m long. All have artificial top-up snowmaking, floodlighting and a sound system. The main lift is a Doppelmayr Garaventa chairlift, 1,000 m long with an elevation gain of 150 m, and a ride lasting 6 minutes. It is supplemented by a platter lift 120 m long. The resort lies at an altitude of 830 to 980 m above sea level.
The company was registered in March 2006, and the ski school started at the same time. The chairlift began operating in 2007, and the snowpark opened in the 2008/2009 season. In February 2011 the “Witowianka” restaurant was opened.
Not far away are the Chochołów Thermal Baths, and in Chochołów the Museum of the Chochołów Uprising. For children there is the Witolandia Play Centre.
