A mineral water pump room in Wysowa-Zdrój, serving water from the Franciszek, Henryk, Józef II, Słone and Anna springs.
The mineral water pump room in Wysowa-Zdrój is run by the Wysowa Spa and stands by the spa park. Here you can drink water from the local springs: Franciszek, Henryk, Józef II, Słone and Anna.
The waters of Wysowa are classed as alkaline carbonated waters, and their mineralisation ranges from 600 to 25,000 mg/dm³. The water bottling plant was opened in 1949 by the Żwirowiec cooperative from Biecz, using the Józef and Józef II springs.
In the park itself there are publicly accessible water intakes, including the Aleksandra and Józef I brine springs. The present pump room is a modern building, but the place recalls the old Spa House from the early 20th century, later used as a hotel and café. Right next to it stands the brine graduation tower.
