A wooded hill (347 m above sea level) in the Sowiniec Range in Kraków, with a fortress battery at the summit.
Ostra Góra (347 m above sea level) is a junction hill in the western part of the Sowiniec Range, the third highest hill in Kraków. It lies in Zwierzyniec, in the main ridge of the massif.
Ostra Góra lies between Sowiniec, from which it is separated by the Janasówki pass, and Pustelnik. Its summit is a completely wooded dome from which four ridges extend: the northern to Sowiniec, the eastern to Pustelnik, the southern through the Bielańska Pass to Srebrna Góra and the western through the Trzy Kopce pass to Srebnica. The hill rises above four small valleys: Mokry Dół, Wolski Dół, also called the Valley of Our Lady, Gomółczy Dół and Łupany Dół.
At the summit stands the fortress battery FB 36 “Ostra Góra”, part of the complex of defensive works of Fort “Bielany”. The structure lies in the forest covering the hill.
