A museum opened in 2007 in the rebuilt synagogue in Koszyce, with regional and sacred exhibits.
The Stanisław Boduch Museum of the Koszyce Land is housed in Koszyce at Wspólna 11, in a rebuilt synagogue. The institution was opened on 26 May 2007, and its display combines regional, ethnographic and sacred collections.
The synagogue from 1935 was destroyed during the Second World War. The ruins were bought in 2004 by the Polish-American businessman from Chicago Stanisław Boduch, who financed the renovation. Since 2007 the building has been managed by Koszyce municipality. The museum is one of few in the region: Wikipedia counts sixteen museums for 186 municipalities in the voivodeship. Nearby stands St Mary Magdalene's Church.
The museum has reproductions of paintings by Stanisław Wyspiański, archaeological finds from the region, everyday objects, including a sewing machine, folk art and 17th-century embroidered liturgical vestments.
