An interactive beekeeping centre in Klecza Dolna with four themed zones, workshops and a café.
Apilandia is an interactive beekeeping centre in Klecza Dolna, described on its website as a journey into the world of bees, in which education is combined with fun and ecology. It receives individual visitors and organised groups.
The exhibition has four themed zones, eight interactive stations and 357 facts about bees. Educational workshops are organised. Among the attractions the website lists a café, a photo point with “the largest bee in Poland” and a live stream from an apiary.
The centre lies a few kilometres from Wadowice, so a visit is easy to combine with seeing the town, for example the family home of John Paul II and the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
