About Mały Szlak Beskidzki (Little Beskid Trail)

A red trail of 137 km from Straconka in Bielsko-Biała through the Little and Makowski Beskids to Luboń Wielki.

The Little Beskid Trail (Mały Szlak Beskidzki), formerly the Northern Trail, is a red trail 137 km long, leading from Straconka in Bielsko-Biała to Luboń Wielki in the Island Beskids. It is the fourth longest trail in the Polish Carpathians and bypasses the areas through which the Main Beskid Trail runs.

Three ranges

The route passes through the Little Beskids, the Makowski Beskids and the Island Beskids. In the Little Beskids it passes Chrobacza Łąka (828 m) and Łamana Skała (929 m), and after 51.8 km reaches the Zembrzyce station.

Makowski Beskids and Island Beskids

It then leads through Chełm (603 m) and Babica (727 m), through the junction in Myślenice and through Lubomir (904 m) with its astronomical observatory. The last section, about 28 km from the Jaworzyce Pass, ends on Luboń Wielki (1,022 m), where there is a mountain hut and a geological nature reserve.
