A monument to Bogusław Kaczyński from 2018 in Mieczysław Dukiet Park in Krynica-Zdrój, by Tomasz Górnicki, with two empty chairs.
The Bogusław Kaczyński Bench is a monument in the form of a bench in Mieczysław Dukiet Park in the centre of Krynica-Zdrój, in the fork of the Kryniczanka and aleja Nowotarskiego. Bogusław Kaczyński sits on a chair, and on both sides of him stand two empty chairs on which you can sit.
In the background of the monument you can see the Wisła guesthouse, where Kaczyński lived during his stays in Krynica. It also housed the office of the Jan Kiepura Festivals, to which he gave a high artistic standard. Not far away stands the Monument to Nikifor of Krynica in Krynica.
The initiator of the monument was the Casa Grande Foundation, which Kaczyński headed for many years. The author of the bench is Tomasz Górnicki, a graduate of the Sculpture Faculty of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, who also made Kaczyński's gravestone at Stare Powązki. The unveiling took place on 17 August 2018.
