A church from 1993-2000 in the Bronowice Nowe housing estate, designed by Wacław Seruga and Małgorzata Buratyńska-Seruga.
St Adalbert's Church in Bronowice is a modern Roman Catholic church at ul. św. Wojciecha 4, in the Bronowice Nowe housing estate in Kraków.
The church was built in 1993-2000 to a design by Wacław Seruga and Małgorzata Buratyńska-Seruga. It was consecrated on 1 June 2000. The dedication refers to St Adalbert, bishop and martyr, whose liturgical feast falls on 23 April.
The church has three altars. There is also a large organ with 23 stops, two manuals and a pedalboard.
This is the parish church of a new housing estate, not a historic monument with a long history, so a visit makes sense mainly for people interested in contemporary sacred architecture in Kraków. The rest of the city is far away: it is about 2 km to Jordan Park.
