A postmodern church from 1993-2002 on the Kalinowe estate, with relics of St Gianna Beretta Molla.
The Church of St Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, stands at os. Kalinowe 5 in Bieńczyce. It was built in the postmodern style in 1993-2002, and the designers were Zofia Łuczyńska and Jan Kurek. The foundation stone was blessed in 1983 on the Błonia by John Paul II. The first Mass was celebrated on 19 March 2002, on the parish feast day.
The church has a cross-shaped plan and a spacious, bright interior in white and beige, with a dark green pattern on the floor. The high altar consists of a figure of St Joseph and a crucifix hung against a cross-shaped window, to a design by the sculptor Czesław Dźwigaj, who also designed the tabernacle. In a side area hangs a painting of St Gianna Beretta Molla with a child, and her relics were placed here in 2004. In 2018 the installation began of a 37-stop pipe organ from the Protestant parish in Gelnhausen.
