A Baroque branch church on ul. Korabnicka in Skawina, a former hospital church with a painting from 1640.
The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary stands at ulica Korabnicka 1 in Skawina. It is a branch church of the parish of Saints Simon and Jude Thaddeus the Apostles.
At the turn of the 18th century it was a hospital church dedicated to St Valentine, built on the site of an older church from 1471. The present building is Baroque, of brick, oriented, single-nave, and closed with a semicircular apse.
In the Baroque altar is a painting of the Crucifixion, painted on a board and dated to 1640. It is the only item of furnishings described by the available sources.
Nearby, about half a kilometre away, is the Regional Museum in Skawina.
