A parish church from 1981-1987 in Jodłownik, on two levels, with a miraculous painting moved from the old church.
The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Jodłownik, called the new one, is a parish church built in 1981-1987. The word "new" distinguishes it from the old little church of the same dedication, which formerly housed the parish.
The modern brick church was built to take over the function of parish church that the old little church had served until then. The designer was Krzysztof Białka. The consecration was performed on 2 August 1987 by Bishop Jerzy Ablewicz.
The church has two levels. Services are held on the upper one, and occasional gatherings on the lower. In the simple main altar is the miraculous painting of Our Lady of Jodłownik, moved from the old church. The church stands in Jodłownik municipality, and in the area, about 4 km from it, lies the Cistercian Abbey in Szczyrzyc.
