A parish church in Sułkowice built from 1936 and consecrated in 1964; the tower was never built.
The Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is a parish church in Sułkowice, in the Sułkowice deanery of the Archdiocese of Kraków. Its construction dragged on for several decades.
In the 1930s a committee for the construction of the church was formed. In 1936 excavations for the foundations began, and a considerable part of the work was done by the parishioners themselves. The war interrupted the work. The walls began to be raised only in 1949, after the authorities gave their permission, and then the ceilings and a roof with a ridge turret were put in place. The tower was not built because the state authorities did not agree to it.
The church was consecrated in 1964. In 2014 a new altar was consecrated in it.
In the area around Sułkowice you can see the Las Gościbia nature reserve, and in Lanckorona the castle.
