A Late Neoclassical manor house with a portico and an English park, founded in 1412, today a hotel with a restaurant.
The Manor House in Sieraków is a former gentry manor in Dobczyce municipality, in Myślenice County. Its present form comes from a Late Neoclassical reconstruction after 1846, and today the building serves as a hotel with a restaurant.
The manor was founded in 1412 by Mikołaj of Sieraków. The village remained in the hands of the Sierakowski family until the end of the 15th century, in 1507 it passed to the Lubomirskis, then belonged to the Romiszewskis, and at the end of the 18th century to the Przychockis. The original manor was a wooden, single-storey building.
After 1846 Teodor Przychocki rebuilt the manor in the spirit of Late Neoclassicism. The front façade is decorated with a six-column portico with a terrace, and on the garden side there is a two-column portico. In the early 20th century wings were added and the roof was raised, giving the building three storeys. The building was entered in the heritage register in 1991.
The Przychocki family laid out an English-style park by the manor, with beeches, oaks, hornbeams, willows, ash trees and tulip trees. A small chapel stands in the park.
