War Cemetery no. 360 lies in Słupia in Jodłownik municipality, in Limanowa County. It belongs to cemetery district X Limanowa, one of the 36 cemeteries of this district, which was created after the fighting of autumn and winter 1914.
89 soldiers are buried here: 60 of the Austro-Hungarian army and 29 of the Russian army. The graves are 19 single and 12 collective ones. Wikipedia states that the bodies were gathered from the battlefields immediately after the fighting, and that the land for the cemetery was donated by the Dydyński family. The formal cemetery was built by the Austrians after the victorious Łapanów-Limanowa operation and the Battle of Gorlice, and Italian and Russian prisoners of war worked on it.
The cemetery was designed by Gustav Ludwig. It has an unusual T-shaped plan and covers about 270 sq m. It is surrounded by a stone wall about 1.5 m high, and a stone obelisk stands in front of the entrance. On the graves, cast-iron Latin and Orthodox crosses, Austrian medallion crosses with a laurel wreath and semicircular gravestones with metal plaques have survived. The cemetery is no longer in use for burials.
